Jan 2 - Lake Chisolm

Jan 2 - Lake Chisolm

2014. January 03.

Lake Chisolm another sinkhole full of water, with a magnificent forest walk to get there.
Worked out what I was doing wrong with settings for macro work so next lot of pics will be better/sharper.

Jan 2 - Arthur River area

Jan 2 - Arthur River area

2014. January 04.

Coutta Rocks was so windy, it knocked me off my feet when I was shooting waves crashing on the rocks. And I also lost the car keys somewhere on the rocks or grassy hills but luckily when we retraced my steps, I found them under 2 feet of grass - somehow. Very lucky.

Jan 2 - Dismal Swamp

Jan 2 - Dismal Swamp

2014. January 02.

A sinkhole 600 acrs large with a swamp based forest in the hole made for an interesting walk.

The best bit was sliding down the ramp at great speed, but alas, we had to walk back up.

Trees, yabbies, moss galore.

2013

2013

Mainly South Australia but just got into Tasmania at the end of November.

2012

2012

Still in WA but mainly in the SW lushing up the wineries and greenery then flew to Brisbane for Adam and Bettrys's newborn Amelia, the cutie.

Couldn't leave WA yet so we took a left turn into central WA to Mt Augustus and the incredible Lake Ballard.

Across the Nullarbor and visits to Denise's rellies in the SA peninsulas, then up to Uluru area.

Then decided to follow the Murray/Darling up to see Cameron's Corner and across to Brisbane for David and Michelle's newborn Blake, another cutie. Changed house sitters then too, then back south to resume the trip where we would have left off, Melbourne then Tassie.

2011

2011

We covered a lot of ground in the first year.  Denise brole her leg in two places at Lawn Hill, central Qld and at the same time,  had to fly to Brisbane for the funeral of her mother, Ellie.

We covered the top end of NT, seeing Kakadu and Litchfield among other dramatic landscapes.

Then over to fabulous WA with spectacular places at every turn.

The albums here are worth a long cuppa.
